Phantom Phlyer

One of the most important Phantom restorations of recent years is taking place at Murrieta, California. French Valley Airport, some 60 miles (97km) north of San Diego, is home to Wings and Rotors Air Museum and McDonnell Douglas Phantom II 145310.rnWings and Rotors started in the 1990s as the Whittier Aviation Museum in a business park in Whittier, California, but soon outgrew the available space. Accordingly, it moved to accommodation at the March Field Air Museum in Moreno Valley in 2001 and then to its current home in 2003. (See also FlyPast May 2007.)
