Skyhawk over Arizona

A two-seat version of a McDonnell Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is now fully airworthy in Marana, Arizona. Fighting Classics completed N518TA in 2010 after five years of work, essentially mating the rear of an A-4L with the front section of a two-seat TA-4J. The jet began life as A-4L148602, one of a batch of A-4Cs that were converted to A-4L standard and sold to the Malaysian Air Force. It changed hands several times before being released to the open market.
