Shuttleworth Lysander receives attention

Westland Lysander IIIA V9367 was recently involved in a maintenance programme in preparation for the forthcoming airshow 'season'. Engineers at the Shuttleworth Collection's Old Warden base removed the aircraft's distinctive underbelly tank and also took off some of the cowling panels to access the engine. The 1942-built aircraft continues to wear the colours of a Tempsford-based 161 Squadron machine (see February issue).
