Retired Sea Kings sold as 'surplus'

The fuselages of eight Westland Sea Kings have been bought by the UK sales and marketing agent for MoD surplus equipment, Witham Specialist Vehicles of Colsterworth, Lincolnshire. Previously in storage at Gosport, Hants, all have been comprehensively stripped for spares to help support the remaining Sea King fleet, the majority of which are being retired in March 2016 with the final ASaC.7s enjoying a stay of execution until September 2018.
