In New Zealand, Warbirds over Wanaka is the biggest historic aircraft event in the southern hemisphere, and this year it welcomes a visitor from the UK in the shape of the Aircraft Restoration Company's Hispano Buchon. For the very adventurous traveller, late September sees North Korea staging its first ever airshow open to international participants. At Wonsan, attendees are promised appearances by aircraft from the Korean People's Army Air Force both in the air and on the ground, amongst other attractions.
