Maintaining an energy flow within a modeling club is a perennial problem that afflicts every club at some point in time. A key factor to a club's success and viability is directly attributable to the people who are club members. Most clubs are blessed with a core group of modelers who are instrumental in maintaining the continuity of the club, literally on the day-to-day basis.rnThese modelers can only be described as "lifers". They are present at all club functions; they pitch in and do the heavy lifting; and they automatically renew their membership every year. They have either been modelers since their respective youths, with no interruption, or perhaps had some period on the periphery of modeling while they acquired their education, moved forward in their careers, and/or raised their families. But then they came back into the modeling fold and have been there ever since.
