PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus etc. for the reception and representation output of a sports television broadcast which can represent a play during a play term that is a desired scene of a television broadcast, and can output the play in real time.;SOLUTION: In the apparatus, a television broadcasting signal including an image and audio of sports is received, and the received image signal is displayed and outputted to a display section of the receiving apparatus, or the received audio signal is audio-outputted to an audio generating section of the receiving apparatus. The apparatus includes: a play timing signal generating means 51 which detects a start of a predetermined play from a received image signal and a pitcher's pitching action or ball movement pitched by a pitcher by image recognition, and generates a play timing signal; and an output control means 13 which controls display and outputs it to the display section of the receiving apparatus or audio-output it to the audio generating section of the apparatus at play timing. The apparatus receives a television broadcasting signal including the image and audio of sports, extracts the received image signal and audio signal, and displays and outputs the received image signal to the display section of the receiving apparatus or audio-outputs the received audio signal to the audio generating section of the receiving apparatus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
