Those of you who are eagle-eyed will have noticed that this issue does not focus on policy and that in fact the topics featured are heritage buildings, modern construction methods and firefighter safety. This is because we've made the decision to swap the topics for this issue and the next. The reason for this is that we wanted to coincide the launch of the FPA's Safe Futures Campaign with our policy issue. The campaign will lobby the government to make some key changes to the Building Regulations. We will have an extended issue next month focusing on these points and you will be able to fill in a postcard to DCLG minister Stephen Williams to show your support, should you so wish.
