EPA Adds Former Mining CEO to Fugitive List Case Involves Waste Disposal in California

The Environmental Protection Agency announced Aug. 17 the addition of the former head of two min ing companies to the agency's fugitive list. Peter Martin Kuhn did not surrender after being in dicted for his alleged involvement in a conspiracy to dispose of gold mining waste from the French Gulch Mine in Shasta County, Calif., EPA said. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, the agency said.
