Manufacturing: Toyota Will Finish Construction Of Halted Mississippi Plant

Toyota Motor Corp. said on June 17 it is resuming construction of its $1.3-billion manufacturing plant in Blue Springs, Miss. Work, which had been indefinitely suspended since December 2008 at the 1.9-million-sq-ft factory, was mostly completed. The remaining project will be new painting facilities, says a spokeswoman.
