  Simon Smith is a freelance teacher and teacher trainer. He has lived and worked in Sudan, China, Saudi Arabia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Poland. He is currently based in Britain and is a tutor and supervisor on the University of York's MA (by distance) in Teaching English to Young Learners. He also works on training courses for the Norwich Institute for Language Education and Sue Leather Associates. He is especially interested in trainer training and in working with young learner teachers who teach in low-tech classrooms;
