The company claims the LXDC2UR and LXDC3EP series are the smallest dc-dc converters (600-mA and I -A current ratings, respectively) that also integrate the I/O capacitors. Another series, the LXDC55B, is available at 3 A. In addition, by embedding the power inductor within the actual ferrite substrate, the IC can be mounted directly above the power-inductor coil with almost no pattern length, diminishing leakage radiation noise.
