Users’ Satisfaction and Return on Investment (ROI) for Online Database Library Databases: A Malaysian Technical University Perspective

This study aimed to identify the quality of the online databases and how it impacted users’ satisfaction and their future intention to continue using the online databases. This study also investigates the library “Return on Investment” (ROI). A total of 80 users participated to yield a response rate of 29%. It is found that online databases’ quality dimensions are significantly related to users’ satisfaction and their intention to continue using online databases. Calculation of ROI based on a research grant shows a positive ratio that indicates that more benefit has been generated through the research grant.
