The device (DSE) has a managerial agent (GBD) for managing database (BAD) comprising tables (TAB1, TAB2), and a patch library (BIP) comprising patches (PIE1, PIE2). Another managerial agent (GBP) manages the patch library. An input upstream medium (MOA) receives the patches in the form of images after receiving electronic mail, and permits to store, identify, index, mark and protect against modification or falsification of the patches and incoming data (DAEI, DAE2) in the library. An intermediate medium (MOI) permits interfacing between the library and the database. An independent claim is also included for a method for implementing a securing device.
