PreparationofFe2O3/TiO2compositefromSukabumiironsandbymagneticseparation,roasting,leachingandprecipitationtreatmenthasbeencarriedout.Magneticseparationcanseparatemagneticparticlesandnon-magneticparticlesofironsandcontent,whilethenon-magneticparticles(wustite(FeO),hematite(α-Fe2O3),maghemite(γ-Fe2O3)andmagnetite(Fe3O4))waswashingwithoxalicacid1M.Theresultproductthenwasroastedat800°Ctreatedbysodiumcarbonate(Na2CO3)additionof1:1;2:1and1:2(w/w)ofironsandtoNa2CO3weightratio,respectively.TheX-RayFluorescence(XRF)analysisresultshownthatSukabumiironsandhavehematite(Fe2O3)andtitaniumdioxide(TiO2)contentabout72.17%dan14.42%.XRDanalysisofroastedironsandshowntherutile(TiO2),Hematite(Fe2O3),NaFeO2,FeO,andNa2TiO3.Leachingofroastedironsandusingsulphuricacid(H2SO4)haveinfluencedbyconcentrationsoftheH2SO4solution.TheoptimumironsanddissolutionoccurredinH2SO49M,whichcondensationproductoftheleachanthaveaweightratioofFe:Ti=1:1(w/w).Meanwhile,thesettlingback-filtrateresultofsecondcondensationwasobtainedaratioofFe2O3:TiO2of3:1(w/w)...
