Esophageal cancer is the ninth cause of neoplasias and thesixth cause of cancer mortality. Surgical treatment of thosetumorswith gastric or colonic replacement has advancedsignificantly, but has been a risk factor for the developmentofmetachronous cancer in reconstructed gastric tubes. 1,2Treatment based on total gastrectomy with colon ascensionis an efficacious therapeutic option, but there is a high riskforsevere complications.
