Environmental racism: time to tackle social injustice

Among the injustices faced by racial and ethnic minoritycommunities, one aspect that is frequently overlookedis the e?ect of discrimination on the environment thatthe community is based in. Whether due to targetedprejudice or resulting from ingrained institutional bias,the e?ects are too often the same: minority residentsend up living in more polluted areas with less access togreen space than their majority peers.
