Abstract:Objective To investigate the influence of micturition desire on anxiety levels of patients with interventional therapy for cerebrovascular disease, and to discuss the anxiety levels of patients with different demographic characteristics. Methods Totally 200 patients with interventional therapy for cerebrovascular disease were included in this study. An investigation by using self-made questionnaire and Hamilton anxiety rating scale was conducted. Results In the interventional treatment for cerebrovascular disease, patients with micturition desire had a higher level of anxiety compared with those without micturition desire(P0.01). There was a significant difference in anxiety level between patients with diffident education levels(P0.01). Conclusion The psychological stress caused by micturition desire may lead to anxiety in patients with interventional therapy for cerebrovascular disease. The anxiety levels may also affected by educational level of patients.
