摘要

The article deals with the analysis of the problem of information and communication competence (IC-competence) of secondary school students in the aspect of quality monitoring in Ukraine and abroad; the results of domestic and foreign experience studies mainly concerning ONDP, European Commission, the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement as well as the monitoring studies of IС-competencies of students’ identified characteristics, general trends and future development.
