The quality aspect of the spatial data collection for the Slovak Road Network collected by GPS

The Slovak Road Administration represented by its Road Databank provided the spatial data collection of the Slovak road network using the Global Positioning System supported by differential real time corrections method in years 2003 - 2005. The aim of the collection has been to produce the 3D spatial parameters of the road network basic elements which are junction points and junction line segments for the Road Databank. The collected data has been implemented as a localization base in a new information system of the road network model. This contribution focuses on a quality aspect of these data. We define criteria for the statistic evaluation of a data quality. Then we design a method for the spatial localisation of road network parts with the low quality of the 3D spatial parameters to provide their progressive actualisation.
