Transformation of health .... and design?

The case for health transformation has long been argued set against the fact that people are living longer with increasing multiple chronic conditions and rising costs of healthcare. The escalating demands on health services caused by the ongoing COVID pandemic puts further pressures and urgency to rethink and transform society's approach to our health, wellbeing and healthcare services. History shows that social upheaval caused by pandemics has led to positive changes and inspired innovation. The Spanish 'flu pandemic of 1918 killed more than 50 million people globally but the aftermath of the outbreak led to a serious rethinking of public health policies.
