Running the rule over fuel

The dangers implicit in the use of volatile substances on military bases in the UK and in permanent bases overseas have been a subject recently raised in Parliament by Angus Robertson MP. In June, prior to the release of the SDSR, a written question was asked of the Defence Secretary, enquiring as to what steps the department is taking to increase the level of safety of fuels and gases at bases both in the UK and in permanent joint operating bases overseas.
