It has been more than a decade since four-stroke fever swept over motocross. As the bikes have evolved, determining the fastest, lightest, and best-handling machine has become a much tougher task. Now, in addition to all the bikes being whopping fast, the weight differences have been reduced to nearly nothing, and fuel injection can be tuned to suit an array of riding styles. Handling characteristics, however, still set the bikes apart and help us determine which is the best 450 motocrosser out there. With that in mind, we put last year's Best Motocrosser, the Kawasaki KX450F, up against Yamaha's redesigned-for-2014 YZ450F and Husqvarna's brand-new FC 450.
