摘要

In this paper, we study the identifiability problem of spatially-varying parameters in various types of one dimensional parabolic partial differential equations. Using eigenfunction expansions of solutions, we establish a number of partial identifiability results for the parameters by means of continuous interior observations. An example which shows that partial observation does not imply total identifiability is also given.
