Based on an algorithm developed by James Tenney, the author generates pitch 'crystals' in a multidimensional harmonic space. These compact harmonic structures, which grow to include complex intervals in extended just intonation, are the basis of several compositions including the piano trio reminded of charlemagne palestine.
