Liebherr's new Generation 6 crawler excavators will be represented at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2011 by the R916 Advanced model. The Generation 6 range has been designed to achieve new levels of performance, economy, operator convenience and reliability. Features of the advanced version of the R 916 include the dual-circuit Positive Control hydraulic system, claimed to provide exceptional performance and efficient use of energy. The technology has been designed specifically for machinery where multiple functions and movements take place simulatanously. It uses electronic pump management for demand-controlled flow and output management.
