Ammann adds to ASC range

New models are joining ASC tandem roller range that Ammann launched last year with the ASC 170. The new ASC 110, 130 and 150 will cover weight categories from 12.2-17.7US tons (ll-16tonnes). Adaptations to the drum width, a reduced drum frame width and a weight transfer in the drum frame have resulted in a static line load increase of more than 10% for the same overall weight. Each one of these tandem roller models therefore achieves compaction results that are comparable to those of conventional products of the next higher weight category, claims Ammann.
