HCEA Offers New Book On Massachusetts Roadbuilding

"Roadbuilding Construction Equipment at Work in The State of Massachusetts," is author Edgar Browning's seventh pictorial review of highway construction, and is co-authored by Sam Sicchio. Chapters cover the nearly 40 different contractors, both headquartered in Massachusetts and from out of state, at work on the Mass Turnpike, Central Artery Project and other major projects. It also includes discussion of road construction from 1803 through 1805. The softbound book runs 147 pages and features 222 historical black-and-white photos.
