Japanese carriers' profits up

Operating profits for Japanese carriers K Line, MOL and NYK Line rocketed for the period between April and December 31, 2007, compared to the same period in 2006. Of the three operators MOL posted the highest operating profit at USD2 billion, an increase of 83% from the year before.
