This is a book aimed at those needing to refresh or deepen their understanding of data structures and algorithmic thinking. It is not a textbook designed to teach data structures and algorithms to undergraduate students; instead it presumes that readers have a degree and it serves to collate many useful data structures and algorithms in one book. Given its intended purpose, the book is an excellent reference, with many problems for readers to attempt in order to improve their knowledge and skills. Solutions are provided for each problem, and the book stresses that there are multiple ways to solve most problems. Python is the programming language used as the vehicle to demonstrate concepts and provide illustrative algorithms and programming techniques. The author assumes that the reader is familiar with Python and devotes no time to teaching Python to the reader.
