In this letter, we first present an exact and closed-form expression of the end-to-end outage probability for a multi-hop decode-and-forward (DF) system with spatial channel reuse, where every transmitter is assumed to have a common transmission period (CTP). We also provide a suboptimal CTP obtained from using an upper bound of the outage probability for which high path loss exponents are assumed. Numerical investigation is performed to verify the exactness of the presented outage expression and to show that the suboptimal CTP provides near-optimal performance especially in high path loss environments.
