PURPOSE: A method for assigning a routing path to a mobile station in an IEEE 802.16j multi-hop relay system and a system thereof are provided to effectively assign a routing path to the mobile station in consideration of service quality.;CONSTITUTION: A base station(10) determines a traffic type that a mobile station requests. The base station determines whether the determined traffic type requires a real time feature. When the traffic type requires the real time feature, a controller assigns a weighted value to a hop number to assign a routing path to the mobile station. When the traffic type does not require the real time feature, the controller assigns a weighted value to link throughput to assign the routing path to the mobile station.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
