Foote receives 1995 Tolman Medal

The ACS Southern California Section presented the 1995 Tolman Medal to Christopher S. Foote, a professor of chemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles, at an April 23 dinner at UCLA. The Richard C. Tolman Medal— named in honor of the late Richard Tolman, an influential chemist at California Institute of Technology in the 1940s—is presented each year in recognition of outstanding contributions to chemistry in Southern California.
