Dr. Ranjit Matthan to receive Hancock Medal in recognition of his excellent contribution to the rubber industry in India and Internationally one of India's foremost Indian rubber technologists. Dr. Ranjit Matthan will be awarded the Hancock Medal in London on 15th October 2014.

Ranjit has made big contributions to the cause of education in India and has been a popular lecturer at national and international conferences. This is perhaps the first time in the history of the Hancock medal that a nephew has followed in the footsteps of his uncle, the illustrious K M Philip, who celebrated his 102 birthday early this month.
