This is probably one of the most serious stories that we have ever covered in Ear to the Ground. It concerns a vital safety problem which could lead to the front suspension collapsing totally and a car going out of control.rnThe vehicle in question is the W210 E-class Mercedes 1996-2002; the same model as our project car, in fact. The latter, fortunately, doesn't seem to have this particular problem, but we came across it on a later car.
