摘要

The jobs cull at Galliford Try has claimed its most high-profile victim with the firm's infrastructure boss departing. In spring the contractor and housebuilder announced it would make 350jobs redundant by the end of July, with losses concentrated in Scotland and at its infrastructure division. Now Galliford Try has emailed staff to say Nick Salt, managing director for infrastructure and member of the board, is leaving. The firm's head of construction, Bill Hocking, is taking over responsibility for the remaining infrastructure work it carries out. Salt has led the division since June 2017, having previously worked as managing director for the group's rail, aviation, and coastal sectors.
