London-based architect Kulbir Chadha, of Kulbir Chadha Architecture, has been found guilty of serious professional incompetence and reprimanded after an Arb investigation. The charges related to a refurbishment project in Westminster. Work was scheduled to take around nine months for £350,000, but the client was unable to return to her property for nearly four years and was asked to pay £480,000. Six allegations were made. Arb's professional conduct committee found that no notes were taken of site meetings, Chadha could not be contacted by the client, the original project timetable was unreal- istic and the client's complaint was not dealt with appropriately.
