Alenia Aermacchi held a ceremony on March 20 at its production facility in Venegono, Italy, to unveil M-3461 Lavi 102 (c 0019/D0001), the first of the type for the Israel Air and Space Force (IASF). The aircraft, which had undetaken its maiden flight on March 15, is scheduled for delivery to Israel this summer. Operational training on the type is expected to start next year.
