Suffering under the effects of the drought, over-supply, and the disease-marred 2011 vintage, the stories out of South Australia's Riverland in recent years have been decidedly grim. Journalist Matt Byrne travelled to the Riverland where he learned from some of its wine industry's key players that although the region is undeniably battle-scarred, some vital lessons have been learned and there are now glimmers of hope on the horizon.
