This little book belongs to a series dedicated to elucidating various kinds of history with titles like What is Medieval History?, What is Military History? and What is Global History? Their covers all present their subject in the simplest of terms, typically by a single image of a doll or mannequin upon a bare white field. For this one on architectural history, we have four sets of children's wooden blocks depicting in simplified terms the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, a basilica and a Ferris wheel.
