摘要

DAVID (DAta and Video teractive Distribution) is a scientific multi-experiment mission financed by ASI (Agenzia Spaziale Italiana) in the framework of the Science Small Missions Programme. The mission is aimed at the deployment of two scientific telecommunications experiments through a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite (DAVID). One of the experiments, proposed by the Universita di Roma "Tor Vergata" (RMTV), is namely DCE (Data Collection Experiment). The purpose of this paper is to present a system overview of the experiment and to evaluate the performances for the system in terms of modulation, coding and BER degradation due to phase noise supporting by simulation. Moreover to present a suitable architecture for the Earth terminal taking into account the extreme atmospheric and meteorological condition in which it will be operated (Antarctica site).
