HIGASHIKAWA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND HIGASHIKAWA COMMUNITY CENTER

摘要

This project is complex architecture of elementary school and community center which foster children who bear the future in the region. Outer space is not only site for elementary school, but also include rice filed, farm, fruit farm, baseball field, soccer field, and play park. These items are uniting without border. Architecture have large opening in the northern side which facing important regional landscape of mountain. We planed to set one-storied architecture using line of footpath between rice fields which extend surrounding area. This way of design generated continuity of landscape and architecture, and everyone can experience regional landscape which transform by times and seasons everywhere of this architecture.
