摘要

In this work we have systematically studied the behaviornof solenoid pumps (SMP) as a function of flow rate andnflow resistance. Using a new, economic, and miniaturencontrol unit, we achieved improvements of the systemsnversatility, transportability, and pressure robustness. Anfurther important improvement with respect to pressurenresistance was achieved when a flexible pumping tube wasninserted between the solenoid pump and the flow resistancenacting as a pressure reservoir and pulsation damper.nThe experimental data were compared with two pressurenpulse models for SMP, which were developed during thisnwork and which were well-suited to describe the SMPnoperation.
