Do you know anyone who likes spiders? Me either. My judgment has undeniably been swayed by how spiders are portrayed in everything from nursery rhymes to movies. They are the stuff of witches' incantations, nightmares, science fiction monsters—the villains of the insect world. However, in all my years of detesting spiders, I had never heard of them being involved with drinking water. That has now changed, and it is an interesting tale indeed.
