It's hard to be a new employee. Remember your first day on the job? It started with a few hours of administrative paperwork followed by a meeting with your new supervisor and a whirlwind trip around your new workplace. Then you were taken to your assigned location and told to go to work.rnOrientation complete-now it was time to sink or swim.rnFor years now, new employees have been brought on board with a minimum of introduction to their new department, teammates, and work environment. They were left to figure out how things worked and who the best person was to answer their "new-bie" questions.
