An AWWA past president-known for his smile, his optimism, and his penchant for sing-alongs-Robert T. Chuck died Dec. 27, 2012.With a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a master's degree from Cornell University in civil engineering, Chuck applied his training to his native Hawaii, where he held professional registrations in civil, structural, and hydraulic engineering. He worked on bridge, road, building, and airport design and was involved in the drafting of groundwater policy for the state of Hawaii.
