Dyeing behavior Of Modified Cotton Yarn

The dyeing properties of cotton yarn pretreated with tricloroacetic acid- methylene chloride solvent system (TCAMC) under a relaxed state at ambi- ent temperature have been studied. The treated yarn enhances the dye uptake of azo-based reactive dye. The color build- up of anthraquinone type reactive dye is not significantly increased.
