DSM Dyneema BV and Capewell Components LLC have jointly developed a new military air cargo pallet and net system claiming it is durable and light in weight. At the Berlin Air Show (27 May to I June), Capwell, a US manufacturer of aerial delivery and life-support systems for the military,and DSM Dyneema.the manufacturer of a strong ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibre also told visitors to their stand about the system's low maintenance requirements, easy handling, and expanded freight capacity. These advantages combine to allow aircraft to fly longer and at higher altitudes, leading to better fuel economy.
