Spain joins KPMG Euro firm

KPMG's Spanish practice has voted to join the Big Four firm's European partnership, the fourth to do so since it was launched in 2007. The Spanish partners will join colleagues from the UK, Germany and Switzerland to create a E∪D4.2bn (￡3.7bn) firm with 23,000 partners and staff. Last year the Spanish firm enjoyed revenues of E∪D175m. John Scott, senior partner, said: 'This move... will increase our ability to recruit and retain talent, will develop wider career opportunities with more options to participate in cross-border projects, and will promote deeper knowledge sharing.'
