Companies House has confirmed that, following the repeal of s706, Companies Act 1985 on 1 October 2009, the 14-day concession that formerly existed for accounts delivered in a non-legible form has ceased. Therefore, any accounts returned by Companies House for failing to meet the registrar's requirements will no longer receive the additional 14-day period.
